About the Role
The Foreign Purchase Manager will lead all international procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality raw materials, equipment, and services from global suppliers. This role requires strategic sourcing expertise, strong supplier relationship management, and a deep understanding of international trade regulations and logistics.
Develop and implement strategies for sourcing and purchasing raw materials, equipment, and supplies from international markets.
Identify and evaluate potential global suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent supply and address any issues promptly.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve favorable agreements.
Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely shipment and delivery of goods.
Monitor and ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs clearance, and import/export documentation requirements.
Analyze procurement expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and market trends.
Work closely with internal departments, including production, finance, and quality control, to align procurement activities with business needs.
Address and resolve supply chain disruptions to minimize impact on operations.

Requirements
Education;
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field
Experience;
Minimum of 9 years of experience in foreign procurement or international supply chain management, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG industry
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, import/export procedures, and global sourcing practices
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
