Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Determine audit objectives and scope, identify and assess risks, develop time budgets and audit programs;
Ensure standards of quality and accuracy are maintained in audits and other financial reports;
Assign roles to various members of the auditing team;
Submit audits and reports in a timely manner for further analysis by management;
Meet with management and stakeholders to discuss findings and audit outcomes;
Remain up to date with developments in relevant legislation and the field in general;
Report auditing issues and assist in resolving them;
Follow up the implementation of audit recommendations;
Periodically review and appraise the soundness, adequacy and efficiency of accounting, financial, business operation processes and other internal controls and propose improvements;
Monitor the application of audit procedures, methodology and generally accepted auditing standards;
Perform general inspection of the effectiveness of functions and organizational units of the Company;
Job Requirements
BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Accounting and Finance or related field, Training or accreditation on Auditing
10 - 12 years of experience in trading company operation out of which at least 6 years in senior auditor or audit head position
In depth knowledge of auditing concepts and principles
Knowledge of applicable federal / state regulations and Company policies and procedures.
Good communication and leadership skills
Ability to maintain high standards of integrity
Excellent attention to detail and critical-thinking skills to gather and review all of the available data and make informed decisions
Proficiency in accounting software
