OLA Energy Ethiopia Limited is a company engaged in the distribution of oil and gas products in Ethiopia. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the supply of fuel by keeping the specifications, that is, dry, clean, and bright fuel is supplied to customers on time and safely. The right quality and quantity of fuel is received and stored at the depot and accounted for accurately.

• Manage the implementation of effective business controls (product receipt, operational gain/loss, cash sales, procurement procedures, petty cash, assets, etc.) by insuring adherence to the company's business control standards and procedures.

• Ensure sufficient resource availability to carry out customer commitments effectively:

  • Prepare a preventive maintenance plan and ensure an effective repair and maintenance plan is implemented. 

  • Ensure product availability by implementing effective and efficient logistics follow-up in coordination with the transport and logistics departments. 

  • Devise effective follow up method to ensure availability of spare parts, tools, filter and other consumables and place order timely. 

  • Lead, guide, and instruct workers to ensure a flawless Terminal and into-plane operation

• Capital Budget (Capex): Participate and assist in the capex planning and implementation.

• Operational Budget (Opex): Prepare annual Opex and supervise its expenditure as per the budget plan and company priority.

• Manage company communications with aviation operations stakeholders (Ethiopian Airport Enterprise, Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority, Airport Police, competitors, etc.) and the customer's front office operations staff.

• Perform other related duties as reasonably correspond to the general character of the post and are commensurate with its level of responsibility.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years experience in aviation operations in a supervisory role or related experience in managing people.

• BSc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Automotive Technology or related field of study

• 3rd-grade driving license

Language Proficiency 

• English and Amharic
