Job Description
An exciting vacant position has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company – Ethiopia for the role of Row Material Planner. East Africa Bottling Share Company ( EABSC) works with the world’s most cherished trademark; invests in the most sophisticated production system in the world and employs people who are prepared to work with passion and focus.
The position is structured to report to the Planning Manager and is responsible for optimizing the planning and balancing of stock required across the supply chain network in line with targeted customer service levels, levels of forecast accuracy, and buffer stock levels, for the allocated portfolio of SKU’s. Continuously monitor and evaluate actual raw materials inventory against a plan to ensure that the optimum level of RM stock is available and effective plans are compiled.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Inventory Planning
Forecasts communicated and agreed with suppliers
Plan agreed with Demand Planners
MRP Planning processes and procedures implemented according to strategy
Facilitates communication to production planners and ensures execution has been planned
CSI rating indicated requirements satisfied on time
Provided quality information to internal customers
Job Requirements:
First Degree in Industrial Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Logistics or related field of studies with a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
