Dodai Manufacturing Plc (Dodai) is a fast-growing organization launched in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on August 1, 2023. We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to join our team as a Business Support and Facility Officer. This role is crucial to the seamless operation of our offices, showrooms, factories, and future facilities. The ideal candidate will collaborate across all levels of the organization, working closely with the People Operations and Administration team to achieve company and departmental goals. Key Responsibilities

Facility Oversight and  Office Management

  • Oversee and ensure the security, cleanliness, and safety compliance of all company locations, including offices, showrooms, factories, and future facilities.

  • Manage facility-related operations such as maintenance, repairs, office layouts, seating arrangements, and resource allocation.

  • Supervise and coordinate cleaning and security services, conducting regular inspections and communicating with service providers to maintain high standards and address improvements.

Administrative Support

  • Supervise daily office operations and maintain efficient workflows.

  • Oversee office supplies and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the timely purchase of necessary equipment and items for the entire facility.

  • Organize company events, workshops, and monthly all staff meetings by handling all the logistics.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Partner with the People Operations and Administration team to achieve shared objectives.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communication.

  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders for all required services.

 Project Support and Operational Efficiency

  • Support facility-related projects, including expansions and new setups, ensuring they enhance employee experience and workplace efficiency.

  • Assist with budget development and management for facility and administrative operations, ensuring timely execution of goals.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operations and foster employee engagement.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field of study.

  • 1+ years of experience in office administration, facility management, or a similar role.

Key Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent project management and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
