• To Collect samples of raw material  to collect sample from different production lines, to carry out cleaning activities, to prepare sample for raw material analysis, intermidiate product, finished product , outgoing finished products 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Operational

• Gathers samples of Raw material,intermidiate product, finished product and outgoing finished products  and retain sample if nessary

• To submit test results and reports.

• To carry out simple laboratory activities like preparing raw materials for analysis, etc.  When required.

• To prepare distilled water, to recover and follow-up chemicals for re-use.

• To carry out cleaning of glass wares, working areas, instruments, etc daily with good care.

• Document and report the results of the tests accurately and in a timely manner.

•  Follow strict safety protocols during the collection and testing process.

• Coordinate with the production team to ensure that the samples represent the actual product accurately.

•  Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lab area.

• To perform some other related tasks when ordered.

• Food safety management system Internal Audits

• Food safety management system Corrective Action Program

• Understand the  Food safety hazards and  participate on the prevention or reduction of these Food safety Hazard

• Follow up Implementation of sanitary and hygiene conditions during production and packing of oil.

• Participate on continual improvement of the food safty Management System (ISO 22000:2018)

Environmental Management system

• Complete required training programs in a timely manner

• Notify  Manager of any environmental aspects not documented

• Perform designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions

• Have knowledge of the HCFM  including:

• Environmental Management System Policy

• Environmental Management System Significant  Aspects

• Environmental Management System Objectives and Targets

• Environmental Management System Internal Audits

• Environmental Management System Corrective Action Program

• Participate on continual improvement of the enviromental Management System (ISO 14001:2015)

OH and S Management system

• Maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with company Occupational Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.

• Maintain Safe, Healthy and Risk-Free Working Environment on Shift basis

• Assisting in the on-going maintenance of a safe work place through involvement in theimplementation of safe systems of work in accordance with company Occupational Health Safety Policies and Procedures

• Participating in mandatory Health and Safety training sessions

• Identifying and reporting hazards in the workplace

• Record, document and maintain the records as per the OH&S Management System (ISO 45001:2018) requirements.

Job Requirements

• Knowledge, skills and experience required

• Level 3 diploma or other  related field or 12 grade complete with knowledge of the processes involved

• At least 0/2 years’ experience in manufacturing;

• Previous experience in a lab , preferably in the food industry.

• Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and protocols.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
