Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives purchase requisition and prepares requests for quotations to supplier.

• Examines and analyzes departmental purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy of information

• Investigates and develops sources of supplies,

• Prepares procurement documents, such as request for quotations, bidding documents, request for proposals, evaluation reports and contract agreements

• Assists in the management of contracts and Collect goods purchased as per the specification and lead time.

• Responsible for handling the Beaeka’s Procurement functions as per the established Policies.

• Participates in the pre-qualification of suppliers of goods and services to the organization.

• Prepares Purchase orders based on the procurement committee bid analysis, recommendation and proper approval.

• Develop lists of suppliers with addresses and the compilation of market information on prices of commodities.

• Truck the status of any orders and review deliveries against the orders.

• Keeps records of all the purchasing activities and submit periodic report to Procurement Head.

• Prepares a monthly and a weekly Purchasing Status Report:

• A report on outstanding Purchase requisitions. These are requisitions which have not yet been converted into Pos. 

• Perform other related duties as may be required.

Job Requirements

• BA Degree in related fields

• 4 years relevant experience
