Job Description
Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, support data analytics platforms, and conduct unit testing and troubleshooting. As an ideal candidate.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
· Clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business improvements.
· Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI) to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
· Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
· Conduct ad hoc analyses to address specific business questions and challenges.
· Create and maintain documentation for data processes, methodologies, and analytical frameworks.
· Assist in training team members on BI tools and best practices for data analysis.
· Create compelling visual representations of data to effectively communicate insights and findings to stakeholders.
· Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for data analytics projects.
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
· Proven experience as a BI Data Analyst
· Industry experience is preferred.
· Background in data analysis and data mining
· In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
· Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI, ODI)
· Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
· Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
· Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
· BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
