Dololo Import and Export PLC is a duly registered business entity that exports coffee and imports various goods from abroad. Our company is looking to employ a talented, motivated, and qualified applicant for the position of Senior Account.

The Senior Accountant is in charge of maintaining accurate and complete financial records under the supervision of the Managing Director in compliance with international accounting standards and our company's accounting and financial policies and procedures.

Description

• Keeps accounting controls up to date by adhering to rules and processes and state financial legal obligations;

• Ensures monthly payrolls for all staff are prepared according to policies and procedures;

• Ensures the timely settlement of payroll tax, pension and other obligations;

•  Ensures that all official documents and vouchers of the organization are properly registered and are available in sufficient quantity;

• Processes payments which involve ensuring all payments are adequately supported by appropriate documentation;

• Provides technical support and training to accountants and cashiers;

• Participates on preparation of financial manual;

• Preparing overhead costs analysis and budget reconciliation;

• Provide combined analysis of imports and exports and provide valuable information for business decisions;

• Prepares and arranges all the required documents for annual financial audit and taxes;

• Developing professional working relationship with banks, suppliers, clients, and government office;

• Summarize financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements;

• Secures financial information by completing database backups.

• Perform other duties as required by the Managing Director. 

Job Requirements

• B.A, /BA Degree in Accounting and Finance 

• Good knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). 

• Minimum of 4 (Four) years of experience 

• Experience working with accounting software’s like Peachtree is a must to have skill. 

• Experience working in Import and Export business is a minimum precondition.

• Experience in Coffee export sector is also an essential component.
