Job Description

The Capability Training Officer is responsible for identifying and addressing training gaps within the organization by developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive training programs aligned with business objectives, focusing on building and maintaining employee capabilities across all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and prioritize development areas across departments.

  • Collaborate with line managers to understand performance expectations and identify specific training requirements.

  • Analyze data from performance reviews, competency assessments, and other sources to inform training strategy.

  • Deliver training programs to employees at various levels, adapting content and delivery style to meet diverse learning needs.

  • Monitor participant engagement and provide constructive feedback during training sessions.

  • Stay updated on emerging training trends, technologies, and industry best practices.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing training programs and develop new training initiatives.

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.

  • Analyze training data to identify areas for improvement and make adjustments to future programs.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in Human Resources, Business Management, or related fields.

Key Skills 

  •  Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and measure program effectiveness.

  • Proficiency in utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technology tools.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.

  • Being able to work with and motivate people at all levels of an organization.

  • Being able to solve problems and negotiate.

  • Being open to change and offering new ideas
