Job Description
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Manage inventory, ordering of supplies, and inventory control to optimize costs.
2. Guest Experience:
- Create and maintain a welcoming and upscale dining atmosphere.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with chefs to develop a seasonal menu that showcases authentic Indian cuisine.
3. Staff Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant and bar staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, service standards, and updates.
4. Financial Performance:
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to increase profitability.
- Analyze sales reports and implement promotional strategies to drive revenue.
5. Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create campaigns that highlight special events, new dishes, and seasonal promotions.
- Build relationships with local businesses and community partners to drive traffic.
6. Quality Control:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Regularly review menu items to ensure quality and authenticity, adjusting as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of management experience in a fine dining restaurant and bar, preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine.
- Strong leadership and staff development skills, with an understanding of the nuances of Indian culture and cuisine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service focus.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and inventory management software.
