Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Advisory Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience working in consulting and advisory roles focused on Africa. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the region's business landscape. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support consulting projects. 

  • Conduct market research and data analysis to provide insights and strategic recommendations for clients. 

  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailor-made solutions. 

  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and proposals for internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Assist in the development of business strategies and financial models for client projects. 

  • Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs. 

  • Stay updated on market trends and regulatory developments across Africa that could impact client projects. 

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus. 

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in advisory/consulting roles focused on Africa. 

  • Strong expertise in capital raising, energy projects, and producing research reports. 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to synthesize complex information. 

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools. 

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments. 

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience working with international clients and government agencies. 

  • Familiarity with the African investment landscape and key economic drivers. 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
