The Executive Chef is responsible for the consistent preparation of innovative and high-quality cuisine, ensuring exceptional presentation and flavor for dining rooms, banquets, VIP restaurants, and other food facilities. The goal is to achieve outstanding guest satisfaction. This position also entails overseeing the smooth operation of the kitchen, managing profitability, controlling stock and waste, maintaining hygiene standards, and providing training within the kitchen.
PREREQUISITES:
The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service, and fosters a positive atmosphere for guest relations. A keen eye for detail and creativity is essential to enhance the Food and Beverage experience.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION:
Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required. A minimum of a three-year degree in Hospitality Management or an equivalent culinary degree is necessary.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role within an international five-star hotel is required, along with a strong background in HACCP procedures and their applications.
