Job Description
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR related functions within the hospital, ensuring compliance with employment laws and supporting the organization in fostering a collaborative, inclusive, blame free and high performance work culture. The HR manager directly answers to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for strategic planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration and collaborating with the education department for employee training.
Recruitment:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
Partner with departmental leaders to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
Onboarding and Training:
Design and implement a structured onboarding program for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, focusing on both technical and soft skills.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and employee performance.
Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts in a timely manner.
Implement employee engagement initiatives to promote job satisfaction and retention.
Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement within the organization.
Employee Relations:
Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
Promote open communication to foster a positive work environment.
Performance Management :
Develop and manage performance appraisal systems to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and employee development strategies.
Ensure that performance evaluations are conducted fairly, consistently, and in alignment with organizational goals
Compensation and Benefits:
Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and equitable.
Conduct market research to inform salary structures and benefits offerings.
Manage employee benefits enrollment and communication, ensuring employees are well-informed about their options.
Policy Development and Compliance:
Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and organizational standards.
Ensure that the organization adheres to ethical standards and best practices in HR management.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Organizational Development:
Collaborate with leadership to develop organizational strategies and workforce planning initiatives.
Facilitate change management initiatives to support organizational growth and development.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the workforce.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
Analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs.
Prepare reports for management on HR activities, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
Utilize data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
Expereince: Minimum of 5-7 years of HR management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
In depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
