The Accounts and Finance Head is responsible for overseeing the financial health of an organization by managing accounting operations, financial planning, budgeting, taxation, and compliance. They ensure the company’s financial stability, optimize costs, and provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Duties and Responsibilites:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to align with business goals.

• Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).

• Develop annual budgets and monitor performance against targets.

• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT, income tax, and corporate tax filings.

• Develop internal financial controls to prevent fraud and ensure transparency.

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.

Job Requirements:

• Education: BA in Accounting and finance from recognized university

• Experience: 3 years relevant work experience, of which minimum two years in managerial post.

Required Skills:

• Able to effectively plan, organize and direct staff and financial activities

• Promote Systematic recording , handling documentation of accounts,

• Strong ability to coordinate and harmonize customers and stakeholders relationships

• Sufficient knowledge and skill on concurrent financial proclamations, rules and procedures.

• Competent Capacity to generate timely and reliable financial reports.

• Basic computer knowledge and familiar with appropriate financial applications.

• Commendable communication skill
