Job Description
Job Description: Green Scene Energy PLC seeks a talented Senior Marketing and Sales Specialist to drive sales and marketing efforts for our solar PV systems (including inverters, batteries, and irrigation pumps) in Ethiopia's underserved weak-grid and off-grid areas. The ideal candidate possesses a strong marketing and sales background and a passion for sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our electrical and electro-mechanical equipment, with a focus on solar PV systems and energy-efficient appliances
Generate new leads and pursue sales opportunities, building and maintaining a strong pipeline of potential customers
Provide in-depth product knowledge and technical expertise to customers
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and online content tailored to the target market
Stay updated on industry developments and the competitive landscape through market research and analysis of trends
Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, delivering exceptional customer service and addressing their unique needs
Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and prepare reports for management to assess progress toward revenue targets
Identify opportunities for growth by anticipating market changes, customer needs, and competitor activities
Represent the company at industry events and conferences to network with key stakeholders and showcase our electrical and electromechanical equipment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
Highly engage in digital marketing activities to promote company activities and products
Continuously communicate with existing customers to identify and address their needs
Work under minimum supervision to achieve targets
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, with at least 1 year in a senior role.
At least 1 year of experience in the renewable energy or electromechanical equipment industry is highly preferred.
Proven proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tactics.
Demonstrated skills in designing compelling marketing materials.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal), adaptable to diverse audiences.
Excellent negotiation and sales closing skills, with a consistent track record of exceeding sales targets.
Results-oriented with a proven ability to drive revenue growth and achieve ambitious business objectives.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, showcasing strong leadership and teamwork capabilities.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
