Job Description

Responsible for brand development, customer acquisition and retention, maximizing

profits and driving the company’s overall business forward via developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that increase brand awareness and enhance customer engagement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Developing marketing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

  • Overseeing execution of projects and tasks in all areas of the marketing operations including marketing strategies, product development, brand development, communications, customer acquisition and customer services.

  • Undertaking market research, market forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign effectiveness and consumer behavior and trends analysis to formulate actionable insights for the top management and the marketing team.

  • Leading all marketing teams to achieve a wide range of strategic and tactical goals to deliver a measurable business benefit.

  • Collaborating with Sales and other departments to discover insights and strategies which can be used to develop and implement marketing campaigns.

  • Supporting sales teams with marketing collateral and initiatives to drive lead generation and conversion.

  • Overseeing proper implementation of brand positioning, identity elements, and messaging to ensure consistent representation across all marketing channels.

  • Enforce brand guidelines to maintain brand integrity.

  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including website management, search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, and online advertising.

  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends and best practices.

  • Develop and execute offline marketing campaigns, including print materials, direct mail, events, and outdoor advertising.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies.

  • Ensure cost-effective use of marketing resources while maximizing ROI.

  • Manage budgets for marketing programs, campaigns, researches and product development initiatives ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Track expenses and adjust strategies based on performance and budget considerations.

  • Monitor and analyze marketing KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.

  • Enhance the overall customer experience through marketing initiatives and communication strategies.

  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and crisis communication.

  • Ensuring that marketing initiatives are effective, proactive and engaging.

  • Overseeing the forecasting and management of annual marketing budgets.

  • Providing professional marketing advice to Executives and Senior Managers in different areas of the business.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with external agencies, media and influencers, where certain creative communications tasks may be outsourced or channeled to.

  • Providing support and development opportunities to the marketing team. Increasing their knowledge and sharing best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional marketing experience, preferably in cross-sectoral business environments, of which at least 6 years in marketing manager or similar roles.
