Job Description

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the efficient and effective planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including maintenance Engineers, Technicians, Technical operators, and operators, to develop and execute maintenance plans that align with production schedules and business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule, considering preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and project work.

  • Prioritize maintenance tasks based on criticality, safety, and resource availability.

  • Coordinate with operations to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production.

  • Procure necessary parts, materials, and services for planned maintenance activities.

  • Create work orders with detailed instructions, including safety procedures, required tools, and estimated time.

  • Allocate resources (technicians, equipment, and materials) to scheduled maintenance tasks.

  • Track and monitor the progress of maintenance activities, identifying and resolving any delays or issues.

  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, improve planning processes, and optimize resource utilization.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts usage, and equipment history.

  • Collaborate with maintenance team and operators to understand equipment performance and identify potential issues.

  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of maintenance planning.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

  • Participate in regular maintenance meetings and provide updates on planned activities.

  • Assist the maintenance manager in the development of the annual maintenance budget.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the maintenance manager.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • BSC Degree  in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

Experience:

  • 4 Years of Work Experience in Electromechanical or related activities.
