Job Description

Senior Retail and Diaspora Business Officer - IFB is responsible for driving retail & diaspora business growth by implementing strategies, designing and executing marketing campaigns and monitoring business performance. In addition, the role holder is responsible for administering the cross selling effort of the bank products & services and support the provision of excellent customer service to IFB retail and diaspora customer.

Job Requirements

Academic and Professional Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Management, Banking, Finance or other related fields.

Experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years  relevant experience.

Technical Competencies
  • Good understanding of retail banking, consumer finance, and diaspora markets.

  • Knowledge and experience in modern sales and marketing practices in financial services industry. 

  • Networking skills to effectively leverage on relationships that will enhance customer acquisition and retention.

  • Good banking background, including understanding credit, risk management, and compliance requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior level leaders regarding key business priorities, issues and initiatives.

  • Familiarity with Islamic finance principles and the application of interest-free banking practices.

  • Project management skills.
