The Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI) was founded in 1970 through the initiative of the Norwegian and Swedish Save the Children organizations seconded by the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia. The Institute got its name from the Norwegian physician, Gerhard Henrik Armauer Hansen, who first described the leprosy bacillus (Mycobacterium leprae). AHRI is a biomedical research institute that works in developing tools for prevention, control and treatment of mycobacterium and other diseases of public healthy importance through applied and basic biomedical research and training.

Job Requirements

Required Qualification & Experiences:

Qualification: 

  • College Diploma TVET Level 3 (10+3) COC Assessment Certificate in Development Management or Information Technology or Records Management or Business Management or Information Science or Library Information Science or Management Information Systems or Knowledge Management or Database Administration  Service or ICT Support  or Secretarial Science and Office Management or Management or Public Management or Management or Information Systems Management or Computer Science or Personnel Management or Statistics or Human Resources Management or Public Administration or Record Management or Library Science;  Office Administration and Office Technology (Office Administration and Office Technology).

Experience: 

  • Directly related 4 years work experience.
