Job Summary:-

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. He/she will play a key role in strategic decision-making, cost optimization, and financial risk management to support the company's growth and profitability.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support business decisions.

  • Monitor financial performance and recommend improvements to enhance profitability.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll operations.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial policies.

  • Analyze cost structures and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability.

  • Conduct financial risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian financial regulations and international accounting standards.

  • Maintain strong internal controls to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement.

  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.

  • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.

  • Lead and mentor the finance team to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Coordinate with clients and vendors to maintain healthy financial relationships.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA  preferred).

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in financial management, preferably in  private companies

  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, labor laws, and financial regulations.

  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
