Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

Cashier Accountant

  • Process transactions to the cash register by effectively and efficiently handling cash and credit card payments

  • Manage daily balancing and reconciling of office accounts and handle daily bank deposits

  • Document bank transactions by processing cash deposits in a proactive manner

  • Enforce credit policies to ensure that defaulters and patients with extended credits pay on time

  • Coordinate efforts with the Finance department to ensure that payments to suppliers are timely processes

  • Transfer income activities into accounting applications such as QuickBooks and ensure the integrity of entered data

  • Record returned cash into patient accounting systems and initiate follow-up

  • Maintain petty cash logs, receipts, and balances

  • Coordinate activities with the finance department to ensure the creation of daily, weekly and monthly reports

  • Handle cash clearing and credit balancing activities along with determining and investigating unidentified accounts

  • Assist at the front desk in handling patient admissions and provision of information to patients, families, and visitors

  • Accepting payments and processing credits and providing receipt 

  • Balancing cash and generating reports for all sales 

  • Maintain working area favorable 

  • Ensures work relationships with other health professional

  • Be honesty and professional at all time

Receptionist

  • Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.

  • Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients.

  • Maintain business inventory such as checking supplies, scheduling equipment, and maintenance repairs.

  • Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Perform all duties within FMHACA regulations.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff, and patient information.

  • Schedule and book appointments between doctors and patients.

  • Liaise between technical staffs with discretion and professionalism

  • Adhere to policy and procedures during all activates.

  • Ensure that stock levels are adequate and orders are made timeously.

  • Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision.

  • Complete accurate documentation of patient visits.

  • Organizing and keeping none medical documents, writing letters as ordered by branch manager and preparing monthly report to branch manager 

  • Assisting casher 

  • Maintain clean workspace 

  • Operate computer, cash register, printer and other electronics 

  • Ensures work relationships with all staffs 

Job Requirements

Diploma In Accounting and Finance / Diploma in Management
