Moyee Coffee is the First multi-national coffee roasting company and a leading roasted coffee exporter  based in Ethiopia with an integrated end-to-end operation throughout the coffee value chain,  from crop to cup. All of our growing and roasting is done in Ethiopia. In addition to its successful international sales, Moyee offers premium locally roasted coffee, which is distributed to top-tier hotels and leading supermarkets across the country.

Duties & Responsibilities 

Project Planning & Execution 

  • Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. 

  • Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment with company goals. 

  • Oversee project implementation, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards. 

  • Assist in optimizing business operations by integrating project outcomes into daily workflows. 

Sustainability Implementation & Follow-up 

  • Integrate sustainability principles into all project phases, ensuring environmental, social, and economic impact. 

  • Develop and implement sustainable project strategies  

  • Monitor and assess sustainability outcomes, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement. 

Engagement with Funders & Grant Agencies 

  • Identify funding opportunities from donors, grants, and financial institutions. 

  • Build and maintain relationships with funding agencies, NGOs, and governmental organizations. 

  • Prepare and submit project proposals, concept notes, and funding applications to secure financial support. 

  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements and reporting guidelines. 

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting 

  • Establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track project progress and performance. 

  • Collect data, assess impact, and prepare periodic reports for internal use and external stakeholders. 

  • Submit financial and operational reports to funders, ensuring transparency and accountability. 

Business Operations Support 

  • Assist in streamlining operational workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity. 

  • Work closely with business units to ensure project deliverables align with operational needs. 

  • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements based on project findings. 

  • Support cross-departmental collaboration to drive operational success. 

Stakeholder & Team Coordination 

  • Engage with local communities, government bodies, and private sector partners to ensure project success. 

  • Manage cross-functional teams, providing guidance and ensuring effective collaboration. 

  • Organize training and capacity-building programs to enhance team skills. 

Risk Management & Problem-Solving 

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. 

  • Address challenges proactively to keep projects on track and aligned with

  • Project Management Expertise – Proficiency in project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.), budgeting, risk assessment, and performance tracking. 

  • Sustainability & Development Focus – Knowledge of sustainable project implementation and working with agricultural and development initiatives. 

  • Grant & Fund Management – Experience in securing, managing, and reporting on donor-funded projects. 

  • Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) – Strong ability to track project performance using key metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications 

Education

  • Bachelor's (BA) or Master’s (MA) degree in Social Sciences, Business, or related fields

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of solid project management experience in an NGO setting, particularly in agriculture and development sectors

Additional Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of sustainability, funding agency collaboration, and donor compliance. 

  • Experience in working with agricultural and rural development projects. 

  • Proven ability to integrate sustainability and business operations into project management.
