Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintains vehicles, which may include a company’s fleet of cars, trucks, heavy equipment, and other motor vehicles.

• Performs routine and preventive maintenance including oil changes and tune-ups.

• Performs tests on specific parts and systems to ensure proper function.

• Perform inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles and heavy-duty equipment’s to identify where problems exist and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced.

• Examines critical parts and systems using a standard checklist.

• Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.

• Plans and establishes timetable to complete repairs and maintenance.

• Visits job sites to inspect vehicles.

• Maintaining accurate records of vehicles and heavy-duty equipment’s, parts, and service history.

• Engaging in learning opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to maintenance operations.

Job Requirements

• Education:

• Diploma in Automotive or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Work Experience:

  • Minimum six years of proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance best practices, including preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.

  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards for maintenance operations.
