Job Description
Oversee and manage all aspects of the integrated farm, including poultry, aquaculture, vegetable, and fruit production.
Develop and implement efficient farm management practices to maximize productivity and profitability.
Monitor crop and livestock health, ensuring proper disease prevention and control measures.
Supervise farm staff, provide training, and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Plan and execute planting, harvesting, feeding, and breeding schedules.
Manage farm budgets, procurement, and resource allocation efficiently.
Ensure proper record-keeping of farm operations /activities, production, financial transactions and inventory.
Maintain farm equipment and infrastructure, ensuring timely repairs and improvements.
Market farm products and explore potential business opportunities.
Stay updated with the latest agricultural trends, techniques, and government regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in General Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of farm management experience, preferably in integrated farming.
Strong knowledge of poultry farming, aquaculture, horticulture, and farm mechanization.
Knowledge of agricultural production technologies, sustainable farming practices, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in financial management, budgeting, and marketing of farm products.
Strong communication skills in English, Afaan Oromoo and Amharic.
Proficiency in using farm management software and digital tools is an advantage.

Excellent communication and writing skills in English language;
Excellent interpersonal skill and team spirit;
Ability to work under pressure and respect deadlines;
Ability to follow oral and written directions;
Experience in community development, and civic engagement is an added advantage;
Experience in preparation of the methodologies, guidebooks, analytical reports is an asset;
Familiar with working in multicultural systems and context, and knowing the local language is advantageous;
