Techsphere Technology PLC is hiring a Full-Time Backend Developer (Paid, On-Site)!
Position: Backend Developer (Python, Docker, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cloud Services).
Location: On-Site at Jemo Mikael, Addis Ababa.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Python, or TypeScript.
Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
Manage and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Deploy and manage applications using Docker and cloud services
Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
Optional: Implement and manage DevOps practices and deployment pipelines.
Job Requirements:
Education: Educational background in a related field of study
Experience: 1 - 3 years of Proven experience in backend development
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Strong experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Hands-on experience with Docker and cloud services.
Optional: Knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., CI/CD, Kubernetes) and deployment strategies.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
