Job Description
Shining Stone International Business Plc is private business Company that is engaged in the Construction, Specialized Foundation and Road Marking. Our Company is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position listed below.
Educational Qualification: - MA/BA Degree in Accounting and Finance and Related Field of study.
Work Experiences: - 7/10 years and above, from these at least 2 years in Finance head positions.
Technical Competency
Track record in managing business organization preferably in Construction industry
Excellent knowledge of Accounting Principle
IFRS, Peachtree Accounting and Tax Accountant
Plan, coordinate and organize the tasks of the Finance Unit
Ensure that all transactions, journal voucher or invoice properly recorded by preparing a chick list of all posted and un-posted vouchers/invoices.
Ensure that account classification and coding made as per company’s financial policies and chart of account.
Clearing long outstanding balances and recommending for a solution.
Preparing timely report for internal and external users.
Verifying, rectifying or giving explanations for odd balances.
Keeping backups of important data and files on regular basis in computer.
Ensure that all archived documents properly labelled, filed and classified.
Giving and proposing trainings to upgrade the capacity of accountants.
Preparing draft financial statement to be forwarded to external auditors.
Assist external auditors while conducting their audit work.
Participating in the review of draft audit reports.
Manages daily collections, receivables, disbursements and payments; closely follow up and ensure their compliance with Company Financial Policies and Procedures.
Closely follows up the cash position of the Company and ensure that its payment obligations are discharged appropriately.
Closely follows up and ensure that all receipts of the Company are collected and properly accounted for, deposited to bank intact daily, and adequately controlled.
