Job Description
Plan, manage and evaluate the daily activities of employees and assign them accordingly. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the activities of receiving, storing, dispatching, and safekeeping all finished products and returnable materials.
Included here are the priority focus areas for this role and this list is not exhaustive. This role is primarily responsible for:
Manage and control the stock of finished products and returnable materials
Organize the proper storage of goods and respect the stocking standards.
Monitor the available storage capacity needed and anticipate any possible saturation.
Conduct periodically a physical inventory counting of finished goods, and RPM by brand.
Compare physical stock versus theoretical stock; report and justify discrepancies.
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
Order delivery and transport companies.
Control and explain monthly variance and breakage and missing report.
Ensure all necessary issue documents and driver details are sent to finance on time in full.
Communicate to shelf-life limit according to ISO specifications.
Manage stock rotation according to FIFO method.
Transport to and from the branches’ warehouses.
Ensure preparation of loading and unloading orders.
Manage the transport of products to the branches and depots on time in full and quality.
Manage the transport of empties inter-plants and third-party warehouses.
Team Management
Manage attendance and leaves of the department’s employees.
Manage employee’s performance and coordinate performance appraisal.
Procedures
Abide by all safety procedures related to personnel, machineries, equipment, and storage conditions.
Abide by all procedures related to quality, hygiene, and food safety.
Keeping records and documentations in compliance with the standards.
Ensure the Quality and Food Safety Policy to ensure the ISO standard implementation in the company.
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Educational:
MA Degree or BA Degree in Business Management or Marketing or Management or related fields.
Experience:
6 Years of Work Experience for MA Degree or 8 Years of Work Experience for BA Degree as preferably in FMCG company or in related activities out of which 2 Years of Work Experience in Managerial position.
