Position Overview:
The General Services Head will oversee HR, administrative operations, and facility management. This role requires a proactive leader adept at ensuring seamless operations, efficient service delivery, and maintaining a well-structured work environment that supports our ambitious growth.
• HR & Administrative Leadership: Lead HR and administrative functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee services, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
• Facility & Asset Management: Oversee maintenance, security, and optimal functionality of office spaces, warehouses, and operational facilities.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts for the office supplies, maintenance, and essential services.
• Employee Experience & Workplace Culture: Initiate programs to enhance workplace efficiency, safety, and overall employee well-being.
• Logistics & Operational Support: Ensure smooth operation of office transportation, procurement processes, and service coordination.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Develop and implement policies aligned with company standards and Ethiopian regulations to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human
Resources, Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in HR, Administration, or General Services roles,
preferably within large business or manufacturing environments.
• Skills:
o Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of
driving results.
o In-depth knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws, workplace safety regulations,
and facility management best practices.
o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with strategic thinking and
effective execution.
o Excellent negotiation, organizational, and people management skills.
