We are seeking a Cost Accountant to join our finance team. This is a dynamic role that requires both accounting expertise and strong communication skills. As a Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for:
Managing cost-related financial data
Performing cost analysis
Ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
The ideal candidate will have:
Over 5 years of accounting experience
IFRS Certification
Experience in ERP
Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in VLOOKUP and other advanced functions
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and analyze cost records, including preparing detailed reports on cost structures
Perform variance analysis between budgeted and actual costs
Reconcile accounts and provide data to support financial reporting
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Work closely with other departments to ensure accuracy in cost-related activities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures
Collaborate with the finance team for regular audits and financial reviews
Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on cost accounting
Experience in manufacturing industries
ACCA certification preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and advanced functions
Good typing speed, not less than 28 Words per Minute (test yourself through https://www.typingtest.com/)
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (English is required)
Ability to send and respond to voice messages on WhatsApp in English
