Job Description

The Marketing Manager & Social Media Marketer is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to promote Yimaru Academy’s physical English school, upcoming English learning app, and consultancy services. This role involves creating brand awareness, increasing student enrollment, driving app downloads, and positioning Yimaru Academy as a leading educational provider. The ideal candidate should have experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, and campaign execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Planning & Execution

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for:

  • Yimaru’s physical English school (driving student enrollment).

  • Yimaru’s upcoming English learning app (creating brand awareness and driving app downloads).

  • Yimaru’s consultancy services (targeting corporate clients and training programs).

  • Identify target audiences and create campaigns tailored to different market segments.

  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies.

  • Develop and oversee paid advertising strategies (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.).

Social Media & Content Marketing:

  • Manage and grow Yimaru Academy’s presence on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter/X.

  • Create engaging social media content including videos, graphics, reels, and posts.

  • Work closely with the media team to ensure high-quality content production.

  • Schedule and publish content based on a content calendar for consistent brand visibility.

  • Engage with followers, respond to messages/comments, and build community engagement.

Lead Generation & Conversion Optimization:

  • Develop and execute lead generation campaigns to attract potential students and app users.

  • Implement email marketing strategies for student engagement and retention.

  • Optimize Yimaru’s website and social media platforms for SEO and conversions.

  • Track and improve website traffic, engagement rates, and conversion metrics.

Branding & Communication:

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.

  • Develop promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and banners.

  • Write and edit marketing copy for ads, website content, blog posts, and press releases.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging with Yimaru Academy’s mission.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.) to track campaign performance.

  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on key marketing metrics.

  • Continuously optimize marketing strategies based on data-driven insights.

  • Conduct A/B testing for ad creatives and landing pages to improve effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and social media management.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SEO, paid ads, content marketing, and lead generation.

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing tools (preferred).

  • Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and A/B testing methodologies.

  • Knowledge of CRM and email marketing tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and deliver results under deadlines.

  • Creativity and problem-solving skills.

  • Certifications (Preferred):

  • Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certification.

  • PMP, Six Sigma, or other project management certifications.
