Jasbel Group is seeking an accomplished Project Technical Manager to lead and oversee all technical projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution of solar/electrical installations. This role is responsible for managing the technical department, optimizing resource allocation, enforcing quality standards, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, sustainable energy solutions while driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
• Allocate and manage technical resources (personnel, equipment, vehicles) for installations, ensuring availability of necessary tools and materials.
• Develop and maintain a technical diary tracking ongoing projects, timelines, and resource requirements. • Evaluate, plan, execute, and finalize projects within agreed timeframes.
• Provide real-time updates to the Project Manager on installation progress via email and phone.
2. Installation Monitoring & Quality Assurance
• Oversee daily installations to ensure on-time, error-free project delivery.
• Establish and enforce quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) standards for all technical projects.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure project milestones are met.
• Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and enforce adherence across all projects.
3. Team & Safety Management
• Track and manage technical team work schedules, assignments, and working hours.
• Ensure all technicians receive appropriate training and comply with safety regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the technical team.
4. Documentation & Reporting
• Ensure the proper use of checklists and flowcharts across all technical operations.
• Complete and archive all technical checklists in the project’s Technical File.
• Provide weekly installation reports to the Project Manager and monthly performance reports to senior management.
5. System Analysis & Optimization
• Analyze systems and equipment to identify inefficiencies or malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate and integrate new materials and equipment to improve engineering practices and cost management.
• Develop and oversee short-term and long-term maintenance strategies for company projects.
6. Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to installations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and operational performance.
7. Other Duties
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support company objectives.
Reporting Structure
The Project Technical Manager reports directly to the Project Manager.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience:
• BSc/MSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Prior experience in a supervisory role is preferred.

• Expertise in resource planning, quality control, and compliance management.
