Job Description

Regional Sales Manager is responsibilities for oversees the regional sales, distribution and customer service agenda for all distributors/ customers. This role is to build and overseeing the daily and long-term operations of a company's, leading the sales team comprised of Area Sales Managers, distributors and their sales representatives. This leader is accountable for achieving the Regional sales and profitability goals. This role provides direction and leadership to the Distributer and their staff while responsible for the customer satisfaction and market share within the Region.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Closely tracking both primary and secondary sell out and make the necessary adjustment

  • Achieves the Region’s revenue and SKU target for all products as they are sold into all distributors & customer segments within Region.

  • Clear communication of the expected sales target for the sales team and distributors on time

  • Make sure all resources and tools are available both for the Area Sales Managers and distributor sales team

  • Conduct weekly and month sales performance review

  • Closely Follow up on time delivery of the primary orders

  • Establishes an environment and foundation for future sales growth.

  • Manages a team of distributor sales representative (DSR) to optimize the performance in their assigned territory.

  • Works closely with the Retail Distributor help them & manage: stock & order management, demand forecasting, credit management, profitability, sales team KPIs.

  • Develops productive relationships with key retailers and wholesalers in the area to support the distributor’s business

  • Manage the daily, weekly and monthly primary sales reports

  • Follow up secondary sales reports and make necessary adjustment (Call Rate, Success rate and strike rate)

  • Analyze other KPI reports and provide proper support and take necessary action

  • Based on the market audit and analysis provide input for weekly production plan based on demand

  • Conduct competitor related analysis with the help of marketing department

  • Conduct monthly P&L review for all distributors and provide action plan for improvements

  • Prepare Business Plan with actions - daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly.

  • Plans and propose long term business development of the market and growth plan for each distributor as applicable.

  • Monitors competitor activity in the territory and report back any key findings

  • Responsible for the Region’s forecasting and sales tracking.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • BA Degree in Sales & Marketing Management field of study.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years as an Area Sales Manager or 1 year as a Regional Sales Manager in  FMCG industry.
