Job Description
To assist all logistics issues and procedures especially preparing customs declarations for import and export shipments and facilitating customs clearance process to and from Ethiopia to meet the objectives of the company from end to end.
Keeps record and filing of import goods from purchase request to the end of foreign currency settlement
Assists the activities of customs office at airport and dry ports.
Fulfils documents for customs procedure process and notifies the concerned section if documents are missed.
Follows up of customs rule and regulation and updates the company accordingly.
Replies to any Customs inquiry and resolves the issue exhaustively.
Provides support to staffs and client whenever required.
Prepares and/or maintains documentation pertaining to Container shipping.
Prepares and submits applicable administration and documentation in a timely and accurate manner, such as shipping schedules, letters of credit, licenses, declarations, packing, routing, transportation and safety documentation.
Maintains import export file per procedure and customs regulations.
Undertakes the customs clearance process and facilitates the logistics at ports
Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor
Qualification
BA in Business Fields
Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience
