Job position: Laboratory Technology

Location: Batu/ziway

Key responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic laboratory tests accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and optimal functionality.

• Participate in the development and implementation of laboratory procedures and standards.

• Assist in maintaining laboratory certifications, specifically ensuring compliance with ISO 15189:2022 and other relevant standards.

• Document results, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records according to regulatory guidelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve laboratory operations and quality management systems.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in laboratory technology

• Additional training on laboratory Quality Management sestems (LQMS)and ISO 15189:2022 standards.

• Proven experience as a Quality officer or in a similar role focused on ensuring compliance with quality standards in a laboratory setting

• strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills,both written and verbal.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Field of study: Laboratory Technology

Work Experience: Two (2) years and above hospital or health center level

Desirable attributes:

• Experience with laboratory accreditation processes and audits

• knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and data Management
