Job Summary: Under the immediate supervision of the Property Administration & Logistics Manager, the Logistics Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating the supply, transportation, and delivery of materials to ensure efficient project operations. This includes overseeing local material supply, tracking deliveries, ensuring proper dispatch and receiving processes, and maintaining compliance with company policies and government regulations. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Local Material Supply & Delivery Follow-up 

· Coordinate and monitor the supply and delivery of local materials such as grass, sand, aggregate, soil, and selected material. 

· Ensure timely transportation of materials to project sites or storage locations. 

· Work with suppliers and transporters to resolve any delivery delays or issues. 

2. Materials Dispatch Follow-up

 · Verify that the correct materials are dispatched as per project requirements.

 · Ensure proper documentation (Transfer Documents, receiving documents) accompanies each delivery.

 · Track and report dispatch activities to ensure accountability and accuracy. 

3. Materials Receiving Follow-up 

· Monitor the receipt of materials at warehouses or project sites directly delivered from suppliers

 · Ensure receiving materials match purchase orders and dispatch records. 

· Address discrepancies in quantity or quality with suppliers and storekeepers.

 4. Transportation & Fleet Coordination

 · Plan and coordinate transportation for materials & Equipments deliveries with fleet management section

 · Coordinate with drivers and fleet teams for smooth logistics operations. 

5. Cost Control & Reporting

 · Monitor transportation and logistics costs to ensure budget control.

 · Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining efficiency. 

· Provide periodic reports on material movements, deliveries, and fleet performance. 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  •  2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations. 

  •  Strong coordination and problem-solving skills. 

  • Experience in local material procurement and delivery follow-up is advantageous 

  •  Ability to work under pressure 

  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and logistics software.

  •   Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
