Job Description

Maintain IT computer systems and networks across the organization, resolving technical problems while managing end-user requests, such as installing software or configuring hardware

Top Roles and Responsibilities:

Basic troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving common computer issues like password resets, application crashes, connectivity problems, printer malfunctions, and basic hardware malfunctions
Hardware support: Setting up new workstations, installing peripherals (like monitors, keyboards, mice), replacing faulty hardware components, and managing hardware inventory.
Software installation and updates: Installing and updating standard software applications on user computers, including operating systems, office suites, and security software.
Network support: Assisting with basic network troubleshooting like connectivity issues, troubleshooting network cables, and addressing basic network printing problems.
Helpdesk support: Answering user calls, emails, and chat requests to provide technical support, logging tickets, and documenting issues.
Data backup and recovery: Performing basic data backups and assisting with data restoration procedures under guidance from senior technicians.
System monitoring: Monitoring system performance and alerting senior staff of potential issues.
Learning and development: Actively participating in training sessions to develop technical skills and stay updated on new technologies.

Job Requirements

Education: ·

BSC in Computer Science, IT-related fields · Other IT-related certifications

Experience: ·

2 years of Experience in senior positions
