Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operating excavators and other heavy machinery according to best practices and safety standards

• Inspecting the excavator and related equipment for any malfunctions or need for maintenance

• Reading and understanding blueprints, ground plans, or land surveys as necessary

• Excavating soil, rocks, and other materials, managing the controls for digging and moving loads

• Coordinating with other crew members and working in a team environment

• Following instructions and guidelines from supervisors or project managers

• Ensuring that the machinery is cleaned and stored properly at the end of each shift

• Observing all safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing protective gear and making sure construction sites are safe

• Reporting any issues or problems related to the machinery to the superviso

Job Requirements

• TEVET graduate

• 4 years' experience
