Job Description
Qualification:B.A Degree in Business Administration, Business Administration and Information Systems or related fields.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 Years of service as a Board Secretary. Maintain board’s agenda and assist in planning appointments, board meetings, conferences etc. Attend meetings and keep minutes. Receive and screen phone calls and redirect them when appropriate. Handle and prioritize all outgoing or incoming correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.) to and from the board. Make travel arrangements for executives. Handle confidential documents ensuring they remain secure. Monitor and manage Board Secretariat Office.
Skills required: As a Board Secretary you maintain the board’s agenda, plans appointments and meetings, attends meetings and takes minutes, handles phone calls, manages correspondence, arranges travel, maintains records, and assists in various administrative tasks. They ensure efficient coordination and support to executives, allowing them to focus on their managerial responsibilities. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities with Integrity and confidentiality.
