Job Description

As part of their ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and service quality, they are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize their inventory management processes.
The Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support the restaurant's operations. This includes overseeing the ordering, receiving, storing, and distribution of all food, beverage, and supply items. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory control within the hospitality or food service industry and possess the analytical skills necessary to forecast demand and minimize waste
Inventory Control & Management:
Develop and implement inventory tracking systems to optimize inventory control procedures.
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records and identify discrepancies.
Monitor inventory levels of supplies and raw materials to determine shortages and prevent overstocking.
Procurement & Supplier Relations:
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.
Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and maintain trust relationships.
Place orders based on inventory levels, demand forecasts, and budget constraints.
Demand Forecasting & Analysis:
Analyze sales data and market trends to accurately forecast product demand.
Utilize data analysis tools to extract insights and identify patterns in inventory trends.
Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
Process Optimization:
Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize holding costs.
Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend appropriate actions.
Streamline processes across the operation to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards related to inventory storage and handling.
Maintain accurate documentation of all inventory-related activities.
Generate regular reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock-out occurrences.
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in inventory management, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, statistics, or a related field.
Skills & Expertise:
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in inventory management software and data analysis tools.
Excellent problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Planning and forecasting ahead.
