Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive and operate trucks

• Follow instructions, locate and read location and road maps

• Pre-inspect truck

• Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed

• Inspect trailers before and after the trip and record any defects they find

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules

• Keep accurate records, log books and obtain required jobsite signatures

• Make sure truck is stocked with appropriate chains, straps and safety equipment

• Daily inspection of the truck and trailer prior to departure

Job Requirements

• 8th grade and above

• 4 years relevant experience
