Dan Church Aid (DCA) is a Denmark-based international NGO registered under certificate # 1083 by the Authority for Civil Society Organizations and working to improve the wellbeing of particularly the rural and pre-urban people in Ethiopia. DCA’s Programme mainly focuses on saving lives, building resilience and fighting inequality targeting highly disaster-prone areas in Oromia, Amhara, Afar, and Gambella regions.
DCA Ethiopia Office is looking for a competent Admin and Finance Coordinator based in Gambella.

The Finance and Admin Coordinator is responsible for multiple functions including accounting, recording, and reporting, human resource management, procurement, and logistics functions of the Gambella field office.
Purpose
Supervise and maintain financial and administrative records and monitoring systems to record and reconcile expenditures. This position is responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures, and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
Engagement
Prepare interim (monthly and annually) reports of field office running budget and submit to Addis Office.
Complete time registration on his/her own and follow up and approve all staff under his/her supervision.
Review payment requests and journal vouchers prepared by field office finance officer.
Prepare cash flow forecast and submit to CO timely.
Responsible for proper procurement of goods and services of the field office.
Respond to the queries of CO finance and programme units as soon as possible and communicate supervisors at the field office for consultation if needed.
Follow-up statutory obligations including taxes, pensions, provident funds are paid at field offices on time and bring to the attention of HOF/FM any missed deadlines or long outstanding balances.
Delivery
Ensure policies and procedures of DCA CO are respected under his/her scope.
Ensure that the financial documentations are well captured, filed, complete and secured both at the field office.
Ensure procurement compliance.
Ensured that fixed asset register is maintained at field office level.
Facilitate the operation effectiveness at field office level
Qualifications / Experience
MA in Accounting, Finance or other related positions.
Minimum six years’ experience.
Technical & Other Skills
Proven ability to provide support on finance, HR, Procurement and Logistics staff under his/her supervision.
Excellent understanding on Ethiopian laws on taxation, pension, labor, Civil Society and financial reporting standards.
Ability to work with accounting software and best knowledge of excel.
Analytical skill in interpretation of financial reports, making analysis.
Ability to optimize, forecast and plan cash resources.
Communication and reporting skills (verbal and in writing).
Ability to work to deadlines with good prioritization and time management skills.
