We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to lead brand development and market expansion for our FMCG division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive sales growth, and strengthen customer engagement. This role requires a deep understanding of the Ethiopian consumer market, FMCG trends, and digital and traditional marketing channels.
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, market share, and sales growth.
Lead brand positioning, product marketing, and promotional campaigns for consumer goods.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.
Oversee digital marketing, social media, and advertising efforts to engage target audiences effectively.
Collaborate with sales and distribution teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
Manage relationships with advertising agencies, media partners, and other external stakeholders.
Monitor marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies for optimal results.
Ensure all marketing activities comply with Ethiopian advertising regulations and industry standards.
Lead and mentor the marketing team to drive high performance and creativity.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
At least 3 years of experience as a Marketing Manager or in a similar role within the FMCG sector.
Strong understanding of Ethiopian consumer behavior, retail dynamics, and distribution networks.
Expertise in brand management, digital marketing, and trade marketing.
Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and marketing analytics tools.
Fluency in Amharic and English; additional languages are an advantage.
