Position: Human Resource (HR) Manage

Reports To: Administratively report to General Manager & functionally to the Joint Venture HR Director/Functionally /

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR policies and programs aligned with the company’s strategic goals.

• Oversee recruitment, boarding, and talent management processes to attract and retain top talent.

• Ensure full compliance with Ethiopian labor laws, safety regulations, and HR best practices.

• Foster a positive workplace culture by resolving employee conflicts and driving engagement initiatives.

• Design and manage performance appraisal systems and training programs to promote workforce development.

• Analyze workforce trends and implement strategies for employee retention and succession planning.

• Oversee knowledge and skill transfer initiatives to prepare local talent for key positions, ensuring compliance with Ethiopian labor law.

• Manage key administrative functions, including vehicle management, security, cleaning services, employee accommodation, and canteen operations.

• Handle visa and resident ID management for expatriate staff.

• Collaborate with department heads to align HR strategies with operational goals.

• Track and report on HR metrics, preparing detailed reports for senior management.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: At least 10 years of HR experience, including 5+ years in a managerial role, preferably in the cement industry.
