Job Description
Senior cost accountant provides and maintain a relationship with Finance, Budget Team and Production department while ensuring compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and applicable Department of Operation with Company and this job responsibilities include:
Duties and Responsibilities
Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database
Construct data accumulation cost
Preparation of yearly for the manufacturing cost
Assist in the conversion from existing mainframe cost accounting system to ERP
Prepare monthly journal entries, including COGS (Cost of goods sold), other, intercompany transactions and
Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs)
Preparation of yearly for the manufacturing cost
Participate month-end accounting close
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports in ERP
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activity as needed
Participate month-end accounting close
Prepare monthly journal entries,
expenses, intercompany transactions and intercompany eliminations
Research monthly activity as needed
Responsible for preparation of yearly Cost and budgets for the manufacturing facility and company as a whole
Audit daily production reports against cost
Provide day-to-day business decision support to operations and Finance manager on various financial topics
Job Requirements
Education: -
B.A. in Accounting and Finance
Experience: -
3 to 5 years or more with Manufacturing industry experience
Qty: - 1
Skills: -
Fluency in English Communication, detail oriented, attention to detail, goal setting, respond to urgency, ERP, skillful in reporting, advanced excel.
