Job Description
On behalf of our client DMC Real Estate, we are looking for a successful candidate to fill the position of Executive Assistant to the General Manager.
Job Title: Executive Assistant to the General Manager
Location: [Lebu Mebrat Hail DMC Real Estate Building]
Department: Executive Office / Management
Reports To: General Manager
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in a similar role preferably within the construction industry
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Assistant to support the General
Manager in a fast-paced construction environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in administrative support, exceptional organizational skills, and prior experience in
the construction sector. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and
the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Work Location- Lebu Mebrat- Candidates who live in nearby areas of the company or who are willing to relocate to a nearby area of the company will be given priority
Number of Open Positions—2 (1 for Construction Sector GM and 1 for Furniture Sector GM)
Salary will not be a problem for the right fit.
Working Hours: The position will normally demand regular business hours, but there will be occasions when it calls for extraordinary flexibility to work after hours, on the weekends, or on non-business days as requested by the executive team.
• Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the General Manager.
• Manage the GM’s calendar, schedule meetings, coordinate appointments, and organize travel logistics.
• Prepare, proofread, and manage correspondence, reports, and presentation materials.
• Organize and maintain filing systems for project documents, contracts, and confidential
records.
• Attend meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points and deadlines.
• Liaise with contractors, clients, site engineers, and internal teams on behalf of the GM.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, procurement follow-ups, and basic reporting.
• Coordinate logistics and communication between office and construction sites.
• Track project timelines and support in the execution of daily construction-related
operations.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally in the construction
industry.
• Knowledge of construction project cycles and terminology is highly desirable.
• Strong command of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with
project management tools is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Problem-solving mindset with a hands-on, proactive attitude.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and external partners.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing project needs and timelines.
