Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets. Provide support and guidance to ensure optimal performance.

  • Sales Target Management: Set individual and team sales goals, track progress, and ensure that targets are met. Monitor KPIs and use data to drive performance improvements.

  • Training & Development: Organize regular training sessions for the sales team to improve their skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve performance.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Oversee customer service standards, ensuring the team builds and maintains strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Address any client concerns or issues promptly and effectively.

  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Work with senior management to develop and implement sales strategies and promotional campaigns to achieve business objectives.

  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, outlining team performance, key insights, and areas for improvement. Use data to suggest strategies for improvement.

  • Performance Monitoring & Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations for sales team members, identifying areas for growth and improvement.

  • Market Research & Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to help refine sales strategies.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to align efforts and improve the customer experience.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing sales teams.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Solid understanding of sales techniques, CRM software, and sales analytics tools.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective sales strategies.

  • Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in [industry-specific knowledge, e.g., retail, technology, pharmaceuticals, etc.].

  • Familiarity with sales management software or CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).

  • Fluency in [Amharic (s)] and/or English.
