We are committed to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and delivering outstanding service to our partners across global markets.  As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our operational efficiency, we are looking for a motivated and hands-on Junior Mechanic to support the maintenance of our coffee cleaning and warehousing machinery.

Position Summary: The Junior Mechanic will be responsible for supporting the mechanical maintenance, repair, and servicing of equipment used in the company’s coffee processing and storage operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the maintenance and operations teams to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the inspection, servicing, and repair of coffee cleaning machinery, conveyor belts, and warehouse equipment.

• Support daily preventive maintenance routines to reduce downtime and ensure machinery operates at peak performance.

• Assist in diagnosing mechanical problems, replacing faulty parts, and performing routine lubrication and cleaning.

• Collaborate with electricians and other maintenance staff to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.

• Keep tools and equipment organized, and maintain clean and safe working areas.

• Record all maintenance activities and report issues or spare part requirements to the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards in all maintenance work.

Job Requirements

• Level III or Level IV Certificate in General Mechanics or related field from a recognized TVET college.

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a factory or agro-processing environment (experience with coffee processing machinery is a plus).

• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, welding, and equipment servicing.

• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.

• Ability to follow maintenance checklists and safety instructions.

• Good communication skills.

• Willingness to work in shifts or extended hours during peak operations.
