Job Description
On behalf of our client, we are urgently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operational Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our client's medical center. The ideal candidate is a medical doctor or qualified health officer with a solid track record in healthcare operations, strong leadership skills, and proven experience in managing medical teams and systems.
Lead and coordinate all operational aspects of the medical center to ensure efficiency, quality patient care, and compliance with healthcare standards.
Supervise clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring optimal staffing, workflow, and performance.
Collaborate with department heads to streamline procedures, reduce waste, and improve service delivery.
Monitor daily operations including patient flow, resource allocation, and facility management.
Ensure all medical services comply with national health regulations, policies, and best practices.
Develop, implement, and monitor strategic plans to improve operational performance.
Manage budgets, procurement, and supplies in collaboration with the finance and logistics teams.
Report regularly to senior leadership on operational KPIs, challenges, and improvements.
Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Act as a key point of contact during inspections, audits, or emergencies.
Medical Doctor (MD) or Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or Health Management.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare facility with 2+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
Strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulations, and patient care standards.
Excellent leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and respond quickly to operational issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing a hospital, diagnostic center, or large clinic.
Additional certifications in healthcare management or leadership.
Knowledge of medical software systems and data analysis.
