Under the guidance of the Department Manager, you'll be instrumental in shaping our farm's future, from seed to harvest. As our Farm Manager II, you will:
Orchestrate Farm Operations: Plan, direct, coordinate, and control all aspects of the assigned unit farm, ensuring seamless execution from tilling to dispatch.
Champion Best Practices: Oversee and actively participate in tilling, planting, cultivation, field operations, harvesting, packing, and dispatching processes.
Optimize Yield and Quality: Utilize soil testing to determine precise fertilizer requirements, ensuring maximum yield and exceptional crop quality.
Pioneer Innovative Solutions: Develop and implement cutting-edge growing and cultivation methods to enhance production efficiency, increase yields, and elevate quality standards.
Be the Eyes of the Field: Regularly inspect crops to predict maturity, assess potential weather damage, and proactively solve emerging challenges.
Nurture Healthy Growth: Expertly manage water resources, implement integrated pest management strategies, apply sound agronomic practices, optimize fertilization, and make informed plant selections.
Prioritize Safety and Well-being: Ensure all farm staff adhere to stringent health and safety regulations, actively promoting a safe working environment.
Solve On-the-Ground Challenges: Tackle issues related to planting, cultivation, harvesting, and crop protection from pests, weeds, and adverse weather conditions with practical and effective solutions.
Uphold Standards Through Field Presence: Conduct regular field visits to monitor and ensure adherence to established company norms and standards.
Maintain Meticulous Records: Keep detailed records of field activities, crop information, seed details, and soil samples. Analyze testing results for nutritional deficiencies, diseases, or other changes, and leverage crop data for informed decision-making.
Apply Scientific Rigor: Integrate scientific methods to strengthen crop production and management practices.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement enhanced planting, cultivation, and harvesting techniques to boost crop yields and proactively address any related challenges.
Manage Resources Effectively: Maintain accurate records of man-hours worked and completed tasks.
Analyze and Optimize Land Use: Perform statistical analysis of data, measure soil salinity and nutrient levels, and provide expert recommendations for optimal land utilization.
Build Strong Community Ties: Establish and nurture positive and productive relationships with the local community.
Lead and Develop Your Team: Conduct periodic performance evaluations of subordinate staff, fostering their growth and development.
Provide Insightful Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on farm activities and performance.

Option 1: A Master's degree from a recognized university/college in Plant Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field, coupled with 4 years of relevant work experience, including 1 year in a supervisory or senior expertise role.
Option 2: A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university/college in Plant Science, Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field, along with 6 years of relevant work experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or senior expertise role.
